Minibuses are provided by Richmond and Kingston Accessible Transport (RaKAT) and include weekly shopping buses, and transport to groups at GreenwoodCommunity Centre and weekly excursions.
Clients must be registered with Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care to use the minibus services.
Where possible we try to offer a door to door outward and homeward journeys, but this is dependent on access as judged by our drivers.
When necessary, Passenger Assistants support the driver during the journey ensuring everyone is safe and assisting with carrying heavy bags.
Services must be booked in advance and passengers will advised of an estimated pick up time.
Shopping Buses
Buses run on:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays to Sainsburys at Tangley Park, Hampton TW12 3YH and
- Fortnightly each Monday to Saiansuburys at St Clare’s Nusery, Uxbridge Road, TW12 1AW
Donations
We ask that a minimum donation of £2 per journey is made to help towards the costs of running theshopping bus services. A journey is a one way trip.
Excursions
We organise trips to local places of interest a once a week. A list of planned trips is provided to registered clients who have indicated they wish to receive this information. A charge is made for these services dependent on the nature of the trip and distance covered. Not all trips include admission charges.

Please note that due to the nature of our service which relies on a volunteer team we may need to cancel services at short notice.
