How Our Charity is Governed
Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care (H&HHVC) is an independent charity dedicated to supporting local people, strengthening community connections and helping residents remain independent and involved in community life.
Our charity is overseen by a voluntary Board of Trustees, who provide strategic direction, oversee our resources and ensure that we operate responsibly and in accordance with our charitable objectives.
The Board works alongside our staff and volunteers, who deliver our community services, activities and the operation of Greenwood Community Centre.
We believe good governance should be transparent, accountable and rooted in the needs of the people and communities we serve.

Michael Horsley
Chair

Michael brings extensive experience in business leadership, strategic planning and organisational development, having held senior executive, advisory and non-executive roles across the technology and business sectors. His expertise includes governance, managing change, developing partnerships and supporting teams to achieve their goals. As Chair of H&HHVC, Michael brings valuable strategic insight and leadership to the Board, helping guide the charity’s development and its commitment to supporting the local community.
Dave Mumby

Dave brings extensive experience in finance, operational management and technology, having worked for Royal Mail, the Metropolitan Police and Macmillan Cancer Support. A qualified management accountant, he has led large teams and managed significant budgets. Dave has also served as a school governor and chair of resources. He is keen to use his skills to support the local community that he and his family have benefited from for many years.
Asoka Karandawala

Asoka is a chartered accountant and experienced finance director with a background in healthcare, business and the charity sector. He has worked with NHS trusts, private hospitals and growing companies, providing expertise in financial management, strategic planning, business development and fundraising. He has also supported a medical research charity as its part-time Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial management and reporting.
Wendy Jones

Wendy brings extensive experience in social work, safeguarding and community support to the Board. She has worked with older people and local communities in both the UK and South Africa, and has held management roles in adult social care with Richmond and Wandsworth councils. As H&HHVC’s safeguarding lead, Wendy helps the charity promote the safety and wellbeing of the people it supports.
Sato Liu

Sato Liu brings extensive experience of charity leadership, patient representation and community involvement to the Board. Her career has included roles in project management, campaigning and governance, with a particular focus on ensuring people’s voices are heard. Sato has represented patients at national and European level and has served as a trustee for several organisations. She is also involved with Teddington and The Hamptons Rotary Club.
Victoria Ford

Victoria brings extensive experience in sustainability, social impact and charitable work to the Board. As co-founder and Head of Sustainability at Coral Consulting, she helps organisations develop responsible practices and create positive change. Her previous roles include Director of the Harlequins Foundation and Director at Corporate Citizenship. Victoria’s expertise in strategy, partnerships, fundraising and measuring impact supports H&HHVC’s work within the community.
David Holt

David Holt is a chartered surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in commercial property investment and development. He co-founded a London-based property investment agency and is a director of a property investment and development company. David brings extensive knowledge of property management, finance, investment strategy and redevelopment to the Board. His experience includes working with a wide range of partners and finding practical solutions to complex property challenges.
John Macdonald

John Macdonald brings over 30 years of experience in digital transformation and leadership across the NHS and private healthcare sector. He has led teams delivering service improvements, operational efficiencies and technology projects, with a strong focus on the experience of both staff and service users. John holds a diploma in non-executive directorship and brings experience in strategic planning, financial oversight and organisational change to the Board.
